All three of us had the exact same video so we knew all the answers after the first person watched it. Because my kids are 11 and 8, we went in together. For example - the interrogation rooms where you learn “deception.” There is one video only. The exhibits don’t have many spy artifacts or paraphernalia. The place is new, modern, immaculately clean, but very empty feeling. For my two boys and I, it was over $100 to get in (we live in NYC and are no strangers to expensive entry fees) and I didn’t see the value. Spyscape’s ticket prices are outrageous for what it is - had the tickets been $15 or $20 each, I would be writing a different review.

We loved the International Spy Museum in Washington DC, which is far better than this. Kids are not gonna care one iota about Turing and real CIA/Russian spies… I would bring kids to the regular museum If it was BOGO otherwise it’s too pricey for what you get. They key is right underneath when you decrypt That encryption portion is a joke for an adult it’s literally they letter actually means this. To improve this museum they should tailor make the interactive parts based on your age. It’s legit an hour+ of reading texts and doing very menial tasks, the whole thing is scanning QR codes and reading blobs of text from that scan.

The Batman experience… skip… oh? You got it for free AND you’re a huge Batman fan? Still skip. Encode/decryption on a super basic level which is understandable since there are tons of children, lie detecting (not as interesting as it sounds), surveillance, and the laser corridor (it’s like closet sized) whole thing probably took hour and half. Pro tip there 8 tasks (questionnaires) that should be done at home so you don’t need to stand at the kiosks for 40 mins… there’s like 4 interactive parts. Don’t understand how this is rated so high.

Got the VIP passes during a NYGO promo so we had a BOGO so all said and done it was like 63 for my wife and I for the regular museum including the Batman one.
